Martland, officially the Empire Intan Martland or simply the Martland Empire, is a micronation founded in 2019 that is not fully separated from Indonesia. Its mainland territory and capital city are both located in the Gayam Permai Housing Complex, Gayam Permai hamlet, Kutabanjarnegara Village, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia and other territory in Tulang Bawang Regency, Lampung Province, Indonesia and Metaverse (on Discord).
Martland is characterized as an Ideological Pan-Sumatranist State that operates as the non-succession successor and continuation of the Sriwijaya Empire and the Jambi Sultanate. The state's national attributes, cultural identity, official titles, and languages are majorly influenced by the heritage of both the Sriwijaya Empire and the Jambi Sultanate
